Made in the Kurume factory in western Japan since 1873, Moonstar use a wealth of traditional techniques to create eye catching minimal and functional footwear by highly skilled craftspeople. 

The Moonstar Gym Court is a re-working of a 1960s Tennis shoe and crafted from a ‘Good Weaver’ canvas cloth, made using the “Kurume Kasuri” technique that needs around 3 months to be woven. 

This timeless silhouette is finished with a vulcanised rubber sole for added durability.
