In the spring of 2021, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 1 Hyper Royal, a new hue to their Jordan 1 collection. The Hyper Royal, like the 2019 Air Jordan 1 High Turbo Green, achieves a retro look and feel through material choice and color blocking.

The Air Jordan 1 Hyper Royal's upper is made of distressed Hyper Royal suede and white leather, with Light Smoke Grey Durabuck used for the Swoosh and panels around the ankle. The lateral ankle features a vintage white "Wings" emblem, similar to Jordan 1s from the past. This shoe is completed with a white midsole, a Light Smoke Grey outsole, and a blue woven Nike Air label embroidered on the tongue.
